The Band
Ash
A natural entertainer with soaring vocals, original band founder Ash spearheads the Shoo Flies as our fantastic Front Man. Ash's combination of soulful yet powerful vocals and rock solid rhythm guitar always delivers a fine performance and his witty interaction with the crowd in between songs always brings a smile!
He also played Shotgun to George Ezra once....just don't ask him about it if you want to be home for tea.!
Dan
Having played drums for over 24 years, self proclaimed 'quiet man' Dan has seen it all with hundreds of gigs under his belt, having toured across the UK and America at world class venues including the NEC, Shepherd's Bush Empire, Dublin Castle and The Cat Club in Hollywood. Quiet off stage, Dan transforms on it with high-octane energy and rock-tight precision drumming. Dan also provides custom samples into the live set, capturing those elusive hooks and sounds from iconic covers. Drum sticks quiver in his presence.
Scott
Scott was brought into the Shoo Flies family after gigging all over the UK and abroad for many years. He received the call to join the Shoo Flies line up in 2018 and has been wowing audiences ever since with his electric guitar playing - excuse the pun!.
With this wealth of experience, Scott brings energy, fun, and smoking hot solos to the Shoo Flies. An all round musician.
If you can dig out a photo of Scott before he joined the band, you'll see longer hair, and an even longer guitar strap!
Freddie
Freddie compliments Dan in a rhythm section described by many as the best in the business! If Freddie's bass lines don't get you on the dance floor, we don't know what will!
Freddie also adds his fantastic backing vocals to the Shoo Flies, adding harmonies to Ash's lead vocals - you'll be singing along before you know it!
Also known to pop up with the odd lead vocal of his own, Freddie is a fantastic musician and the baby of the band!
